Project Sizes

Contributors can choose between two project sizes: Medium (175 hours)
  • Approximately 12-14 weeks
  • 12-15 hours per week
  • Ideal for focused feature additions or improvements
Large (350 hours)
  • Approximately 12-14 weeks
  • 25-30 hours per week
  • Suitable for comprehensive projects or major features

What We’re Looking For

Ideal Contributors

  • Strong programming skills (especially in Go)
  • Interest in security and vulnerability research
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Active participation in open source communities
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback

Successful Contributors Will

  • Commit 12-30 hours per week (depending on project size)
  • Communicate regularly with mentors (at least twice weekly)
  • Submit quality code with tests and documentation
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Engage with the community
  • Complete project milestones on time
